'Objet Trouve'- Paco Rabanne 69

This iconic chain mail pouch, famously owned by Brigitte Bardot and chosen by the Design Museum as "one of the 50 bags that changed the world" is being relaunched this month, 4 decades after its first appearance. It will be available from Dover Street Market, with 3 exclusive versions designed by Comme des Garcons founder Rei Kawakubo. I found mine about 15 years ago on a flea maket in Geneva amongst some used cleaning products and for the price of a cup of coffee... Without being too precious about it, I've always been attached to it and it was often this bag that added some punch to my favoured black outfits. I may reconsider wearing it to that Gypsy-Punk gig next week though.
